The West Virginia Power released their 2008 schedule, which features a July 4th Power "Salute to the USA" weekend at Appalachian Power Park.  The Power is fresh off breaking Charleston's professional baseball attendance record, 255,838 fans in 2007, for the third straight year.

The 2008 season, the club's fourth season as an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, marks the fourth season of Power baseball at Appalachian Power Park.

The ‘08 schedule features 10 Friday night games, 11 Thursday ‘Buck Night’ games and 12 promotionally packed Saturday night games.  Power fans will also have a chance to see six of the eight teams in the SAL Southern League Division as the Asheville Tourists, Augusta GreenJackets, Columbus Catfish (2007 SAL Champions), Greenville Drive, Kannapolis Intimidators, and Rome Braves all pass through Charleston for four game series.

Tickets are available now by calling 304-344-BATS (2287).
